As the sole Photographer and Marketing Director of Semester at Sea’s Fall 2019 Voyage, it was my job to capture and deliver content across SAS’s platforms—from Facebook and Instagram to Tik Tok and the Semester at Sea website—while mentoring a team of talented student photographers, journalists and content creators.

Unlike many other jobs, this was a time when work and life were inextricably intertwined. And with no TV on board, for days to weeks between ports, most of my nights were spent listening to voyagers stories, writing blogs for the company website, and journaling about my own experiences.

Below is a small sampling of the work.
First, a stop motion of my journal. Followed by an example of an Instagram Story of a beach cleanup field program in Croatia. And finally, a smattering of pictures from our time in port, as they were seen across feeds on Instagram and Facebook.
